is much different here. We wake up super early and watch the game in our jamies while eating breakfast. We never see game day because we are all still asleep. The weather is warm and we normally end football saturdays with the evening at the beach. Ava sports her Georgia gear even all the way out here in Hawaii. She is very good at yelling Go Dawgs and if she happens to see anybody else have on a georgia hat or shirt she gets really excited and points it out for everyone to see. This past Saturday we stopped by the beach to watch Daddy surf after the game was over. It is a different world here for sure, and we love it!!

Project 52 :: Im curious
As to what is said when they are out floating in the ocean on a surfboard. I know Ava doesn't get it but Chase really cherishes that time with her. Nobody talking to them or nothing to distract Ava, except the occasional sea turtle that swims by. I would love to hear the conversations they have out there, but I think its best that it is just between them.

Project 52 :: a beach babe
We have spent every day this week at the beach. The waves are getting bigger so Chase is going surfing whenever he gets free minute. She loves it. Its one of the first things she asks for in the morning. It is such a huge part of our life, for now. We will move on from here soon and she probably wont even remember this place. It is a shame because it fits her personality perfect!

Project 52 :: Mommy/Daughter Time
We watched the red carpet for the Emmy's and talked about pretty dresses. We painted out toes yellow and she drank chocolate milk while I drank wine. I love that she is old enough to carry on conversations with me now. It is amazing what she comes up with.

Project 52 :: Game Day
Here is my 2nd picture of project 52. I love this of my smallest Georgia fan on the first game day of the year. Her Daddy is an idiot Florida Fan but that doesn't stop us. We made yummy red pancakes this morning and ate lots of food and watched football and spent time with wonderful friends all day long. We lost today, but I heard her saying "Go Dawgs" in her bed tonight as she was going to sleep. It is amazing how much they soak up from around them.

Project 52 :: A glimpse into motherhood
A wonderful little blog Simply Modern Mom does this cute little project ever year. One year her and her husband did 52 date nights and this year she is doing a glimpse into motherhood. Perfect for her who is expecting another little girl which will make 3 in her little family. She has cute craft ideas and great tutorials so, I thought I would join her in her project. Every week I will post a picture that is my glimpse into motherhood through my eyes. Im excited to document all the little things being a mom is truly about. See her button on the blog and you can join too! :)
So my first picture of glimpse into motherhood is kind of normal, nothing exciting. Well I think she is super cute and I think it is the perfect way to start off the project. Here is my little girl, Ava. Without her, I wouldn't be a mom, so seems right that she is my first glimpse.

Cant wait to capture all these little snapshots of my life.
